Living in Seattle, you see an abrupt shift from warm summer weather to rainy fall season, which morphs into cold winter rainy season, starting in September and lasting until May. Now, you would think people wouldn't be surprised by this change but I guess it just takes some time for the idea to set in. 

The rainy fall weather started yesterday.

While I was driving to work yesterday, a semi and three cars got into an accident in front of me in a tunnel no less because the roads were wet.

Today I checked the traffic before I left for work and there was an accident on I-5, and accident in the I-5 express lanes, and an accident on SR99, my backup way of getting to work. All blocking accidents, which means lots of sitting in traffic. I decided on taking the express lanes anyway. By the time I reached the highway,  that old accident had been cleared but there was still back-up from it. However, while I was driving, I did witness a new accident take place, and three more that had pulled over on the side of the highway. I also saw an ambulance heading in the opposite direction on the other side of the highway.

Seriously, if you can't drive in wet weather take the bus. That's all I'm saying.......
