Should driving while talking on a cell phone be outlawed?
Submitted by Soup.
Uh--yea. Talking on your cell phone while driving automatically turns you into a reckless jackass. At least that is what I have encountered here in Seattle. Usually they are easy to spot, going 15 mph under the speed limit, tapping their brakes constantly, and swerving. And it is against the law here! If the police would pay me to drive around all day and pull these people over, I'd do it in a second.
What are some of your addictions?

Let's see....there are many.
How about tea? I love tea and I get made fun of whenever I buy more. It is so good with just a little sugar and some half-and-half. I drink it every morning. I just counted and I have 6 different kinds in my desk drawer.
Flickr the website. It's fun and its a good way to keep up with friends as long as they continue to post pictures! I think I log in once a day and just browse for fun.
Trying new recipes and food. I go to the farmer's market once a week and plan recipes for fun. Speaking of, dinner on New Year's Eve should be great. I'm looking forward to it!
There are more I'm sure....so I will continue to add to this list.
I've been out of town for a week, attending weddings and visiting my family. It was fun. Anyway.....
What is your pet peeve, the one thing which really drives you mad?
Submitted by Beki.
There are two things actually.
When people say, "All's I know..." I go nuts on the inside. I only ever hear this from people who have grown up in the Seattle area or who have lived here a really long time. What gives?
Also, when people eat ice cream and put a spoonful in their mouth and then pull half of it back out because they can't eat all of it. Gross! Just know if you do this, I am watching you. Same goes for yogurt, frosting, or anything creamy on a spoon. Don't do it!
What's the most drastic change you've ever made to your appearance?

When I was in college, I decided it would be a really good idea to shave my head (longer on the top and short on the sides!) and dye what little hair I had left red. Eek! I had a friend do the shaving part and I dyed my hair myself. I have a picture somewhere, so I can post that a little later. Ha-ha! I was listening to a lot of hardcore at the time.....maybe that's why I did it.
What's your favorite restaurant?
It's pretty hard for me to pick a favorite restaurant, since the ones I can think of are mostly my favorites because of the people/time/place/event that i associate with the restaurant. Not necessarily the best food in the world, but special to me.
The Indian restaurant in Brooklyn before Mike and Janet's wedding
Breakfast at Elixir in Vancouver with Andy
Ozzie's in Norman (terrible food!)
India Gate in Tulsa (no longer)
In Seattle, possibly Ethiopian from Queen of Sheba, Vietnamese sandwiches from Than Vi, or pizza from Tutta Bella(They pass out free wine and appetizers while you wait to be seated!)
Ranch House Barbecue outside of Olympia.
I'm sure it's is obvious that I like to eat!

What was the last game you played?
Well, this has been a totally crap week and I am sick at the moment but HAVE to be at work for the next few days even though I should be home.
So I guess the last game I played was probably poker. I hate board games and really card games too but poker is all right and every so often I get roped into playing.
What's your favorite way to keep in touch? Phone, snail mail, email, text message, Vox, _____ ?
I like email best. It's quick and painless. Easy to type something and be done with it. I also check my email multiple times a day.
The phone is ok if you are on my shortlist of preapproved phone conversation people. There are very few of you out there that I am comfortable talking with on the phone.
Snail mail is great but it takes a long time. But who doesn't like receiving a letter?
Text messaging I don't understand at all. I think I am too old. I see these kids going crazy on their phones with all the shortcuts and they type so fast. It's like a secret language.
Blogs are also very nice. But they have to be updated in order to be read on a daily basis! (Hint.)

GMAIL. duh.
Who's your favorite movie villain?
This has definitely got to be one of the James Bond villians. I'll go with Rosa Klebb, the KGB agent with poison-tipped retractable knife shoes from the movie "From Russia with Love".
Or maybe the really creepy guy from Lost Highway. I can't decide.
